On this day in 2017, John Dunsworth died.
Born in 1946 in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, he began his career as a stage actor in Nova Scotia. He founded Pier One Theatre and then Fireworks Casting. From 2001 to his death, he appeared as Jim Lahey in Trailer Park Boys.

It is a good deal, but price isn't the issue. It's the fact that they're sold out already, with no option to attend the team parties on their own, and no walk-ups. So a lot of GC veterans who go JUST for the team parties are screwed.

The team parties are what make GC week fantastic. We went to one of the concerts in Edmonton 2018 and we left early vowing to never go again. This move will piss off more people than they ever could have imagined.

So far, that's a good call. We'll see if there is a reversal, but right now i'm working some phones to see if maybe I can come up with something for those frozen out.

Apparently...The Winnipeg Grey Cup committee thought it was a fantastic idea to sell ONLY 3 day team party passes tied with the concert series. So no single day passes, and not selling at the door. An awful lot of GC vets are frozen out and rightly pissed off.
