Gotta love Private Eye.
Always cuts through the crap.
pesky meddling kids!

I would've gotten away with it all if it wasn't for them and their stupid dog.
It's a good subject for a quiz.
(OTOH multiple-choice quizzes are often a bit disappointing)

The most vocal Christians never mention the Beatitudes. They demand the 10 Commandments be posted in public buildings. That's Moses; not Jesus. No one demands the Beatitudes be posted anywhere.

3 things Starmer could do instead of camps in old barracks that would actually WORK👇

1. Create safe, regulated routes to apply for asylum in the UK

2. Let asylum seekers WORK & support themselves

3. Fast track status for people from obviously unsafe countries

Also, may I offer you congratulations and plaudits* for writing a book**!

*I've been meaning to use that word for a while.

**One day, maybe I'll get that far and finish writing a whole damned book.
Ooh. Well, exceptions can be made for extreme circumstances.
(Note to self: buy book *then* go back in time and stop Bezos too.)

My debut cosy fantasy novel The Lunar Quartz Library is out today!

Read on for all the details 👇👇👇
Q: is there a physical copy option?
(It's just that I'm a bit backward like that, currently living in the early 19th Century trying to stop Naploeon.)
If you see this, quote with a robot that isn’t from “Star Wars,” “Star Trek,” “Doctor Who,” or “Transformers".
At least we still have the Great Worm of Maindy, our local cryptid - although it's been 50 years since the last sighting of that, and the internet is only vaguely aware of it.

And then there's the Shambling Wugu Beast of the Metropolitan Line...

Where HAVE all the proper monsters gone?
I'm suddenly reminded of the Giant Flying Vampire Toad.

(...sadly, even the internet seems to have forgotten it.)

I heard there was a secret mash
That turned into a graveyard smash
But you don't really care for monsters, do you?

I used to work at a small shop that made little plastic vampires.

There were only 2 of us working there, so I had to make every second count.
- Once beat the Archbishop of Canterbury at arm-wrestling (on a technicality)
- has an award winning recipe for wallpaper paste.
- invented the wheelie-bin
- denies allegations of spying for Russia in the 1970s
- has a pet badger called Stinky Ronald
It possibly does. We might give it a go...
