Ch. 1 Review: I still like this intro! There are definitely some loose ends I'll need to tidy away once everything's over (Maz, Rey's motivation for being in the army), but I like the vibes of this whole first encounter.

Aw man it's been almost a decade since I camped in the Badlands but this brings me right back! Glad to see it's still gorgeous. We didn't see any wildlife when I was there except an ominous sign warning of prairie dog 'plague'

I didn't take pics but the feeling of being in a group of people with no visible beginning or end was so thrilling. The opposite of online anomie, and a living counterpoint to the wary, isolated, compartmentalized world the shitheads want to make. It's simple and obvious I guess but it means a lot.
