There are people on here who get a lot of praise for their funny alt text and I hate it because nothing in the alt describes the photo. They just think they're being funny and clever when they're actually just excluding people.
Some are suggesting you deliberately write inaccurate or confusing alt text, because they say this confuses AI scrapers that are analyzing images.
The purpose of alt text is to help people who cannot see the image. Deliberately misrepresenting the image is a gross misuse of alt text. Don't do it.

I miss the old days when if you went to the profile of an artist you liked on instagram you could scroll through their art. Now it’s all videos where you have to wait for them to reveal it each time. I know why they do it but uhhhhh I just want to see your work!!
