I remember my Scottish friend moving down here and being so horrified!

We had our own spring growing up and that water was always so much nicer than mains tap water. It’s grim.

A seemingly quiet morning at Portbury Wharf today but the hedges and brambles were filled with song birds. Finally got to see the elusive cettis singing their song after hearing them here all year. The lapwings are back on north pools. They certainly know how to make an entrance :D #AvonBirds

Yeah they get along ok without it. Molly is just weird about where she spends her time. Maybe a few months of this will have changed her routine enough to not need it

It a wasn’t a fluke, she’s been spending way more time downstairs. She’s even joined me for my afternoon naps in my office. Looks like I’m subscribing to the expensive feliway (optimum)

I only really ate it in the 90s, in a home that didn’t know of the existence of seasoning 😭
Didn’t help that I lived on a farm and that my vegetarianism was seen as the worst thing in the world so I think they hoped sosmix would turn me back onto meat

I really need to stop tempting fate by making posts like this because the last 24 hours my hands have hurt like hell. Last night my whole body felt electric. I try and celebrate the good stuff but maybe I shouldn’t get ahead of myself 😢

Do you know how good it feels to be creating stuff?! Drawing still really hurts, especially if I do too much, but I think the peak levels of pain that were keeping me awake all night have calmed down. I don't mind pushing through pain if I can still sleep! (I'm like a cat, I need a lot of sleep).
