Maybe the fact that Trump’s entire business career was built on outrageous lies should factor in more these days.

Sunday is the deadline for the WNBA CBA to expire...

The league and WNBPA met Saturday and are expected to meet again today. Here's where things stand on deadline day, and what might be next:

The Russian government has a clearer picture of what the US government's representative is doing than the US government or its allies. This is an absolute nightmare.

There it is: "They gave him 45 years because he was the President of the Country — you could do this to any President."

Oh no we are NOT doing this again
Actually it was fucking wrong. It was egregiously wrong. It's still wrong.
Amid the liberal internationalist optimism of the late 1990s, Samuel Huntington foresaw a world marked by continued conflict.

Thing is, we DID hear about it at his confirmation hearing.

Every single senator who voted to confirm Hegseth knew he held these views about the laws of war.

They voted to confirm him anyway.
Everyone should read this terrifying thread about Hegseth’s published views wrt war crimes. It’s pretty fucking radical …. We needed to hear about this in his confirmation hearing.
A chapter in Hegseth’s book is literally titled “More Lethality, Less Lawyers.”

It’s almost as if there were signs!

In infantry basic training they taught us (emphatically) to use the phrase "controlled pair" for two quick shots at a target because "double tap" has a clear definition and is an unambiguous war crime. This is that definition.
My reach on socials doesn't = Ryan's, but I feel need to continue drumbeat. THESE WERE ALREADY ILLEGAL strikes. The doubletap makes it MORE OBVIOUS, not MORE ILLEGAL. (ok. it's a bit more illegal; since it opens a whole new category of illegal).
(we tried people at Nuremburg for crimes like this).
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."
