According to the new regime, one of the reasons for the new rules is that journalists used to wander around the Pentagon like free-range chickens - nothing was off limits.

Apparently it has always been a huge problem but none of the previous administrations had the nuts to do anything about it.

so here's an idea

we make a flyer with "Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is ..." for people to print and give to others (or leave places), that gets people to think about taking up a call to adventure*

*the call would need to be specific and not overwhelming.
(and best if is anti-fascism)

In some places or on some levels there are separation between police and politicians, at least formally in theory. Like, the politician can't just give orders to the police and tell them what to do. One of those 'checks and balances' for the 'democracy.'

"After Hitler took power in 1933, several resistance groups fought against the regime. The White Rose was founded in 1942 and based in Munich. Its members were students Hans and Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Willi Graf, Aleander Schmorell and Professor Kurt Huber. Against great odds and heavy repression, they printed six different leaflets against the Nazis, and at one point they painted slogans like "Down with Hitler" and "Freedom" in the streets.
While distributing leaflets in 1943 they were caught and later executed. Their resistance mae them legendary and gave great courage to all who opposed the Nazis.

The woman is looking forward while the two men who are both facing towards the middle from either side, each are looking down. Presumably they are the other three White Rose members although their names are not written.

Other text appears in different places of the poster:
"What are you going to risk?"
"What would they be doing today, in the USA?"
"If not you, then who?"
"If not now, then when?"

And at the bottom, under the central text, text appears:

Yeah there's some of both probably. And also it's not just fascists we're talking about, it's what 'the right' in general thinks.

We can also point to how many dems or progressives or whatever, think Trump is fully controlled by Russia and isn't doing made-in-USA politics. Where's that come from?

An alternative explanation, is because there's a huge media communications infrastructure that keep getting them to believe it.

If you look at some of the other types of things some of the right-wing people believe, that second explanation might make more sense and be more applicable.

I think we probably could. That's critical thinking.
Doesn't do as much for the self-flattery dimension, but that's not the top priority.

If you wanted to deny the kernel of truth in what he's saying, your article might not be all that good either. Popular maybe, but that is different.

Being strategic would be acknowledging the type of rhetoric he is referring to, and not leaving all the people who don't like it to the alt right.

ActBlue funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix.

ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations. This week, 7 ActBlue senior officials resigned, including the associate general counsel.
