Na druhou stranu coby liberální volič jsem zvyklej volit rozumem klidně zcela proti svým zájmům, pokud to znamená možnost za 4 roky volit znovu. Spousta voličů ODS toto nezná, tak se snáz dostanou do mindsetu typu "ODS letos nemůžu, stan dozimetr, piráti komouši, tak prostě volit nebudu".

50-60 years after breitspurbahn, there were proposals for transrapid in that corridor promising savings because of avoiding tunnelling, they also went to nowhere. HSR it will be. Eventually.

I did that just by straight-line segments and doing it again, the difference isn't that big:

Listen, I have no time for debates about pronouns in bios but while answering emails this morning I twice had to google names as to not misgender ppl and honestly, pronouns had helped me save time here.

The thing is, once your trainset runs more than 6-8 h, it clashes with efficient trainset utilization and half of economies of scale disappears. Thus once-a-day Hungaria connecting Berlin-Budapest in 12 h exists but the 2h clockface service is provided by Berlin-Prague and Prague-Budapest services.

A teď si představte, že pracujete ve fakultce na rentgenu a každý den píšete na jiném baráku. Všude jiný software, všude jiná klávesnice, a dobře funkční klávesy jsou tak 70%, takže každý popis válčíte, abyste do té klávesnice vůbec namlátili. Doslova.

We have a similar thing going on in Czechia: the passenger number grow on some lines to the point of trains physically not being able to soak all the demand, yet the ministry of transport that contracts the trains and can ask the capacity to be augmented, does nothing.
