“What’s it for?” Prompto wonders. He already has a suit, wore it to meet the Caelum clan that first day, wears it pretty much any time he’s allowed to leave his room. They are a family with standards after all.
“If you manage not to fuck this up, I’m taking you to meet your fiance,” Loqi tells him.

This part! I have written first person POV for a journal-tone fic but I wrote as the main character, not y/n. The carryover into publishing *and* learning that some publishers turn down works not in first person? 😬

Personally not a fan of first person POV. The self-insert trend is concerning (necessity to center self and being unable to read/enjoy another’s POV) but it’s also saved me money from the number of books I’ve put back on the shelves. (I’ve never cared for self-insert fanfic either.)

Episcopalians represent! My parents actually brought me back up from FL as a baby to here to be baptized in the family church. I’ve also kinda dropped bc that specific parish is Old Fashioned but there’s another nearby with an intersectional pride flag out front I want to try.

I went to Catholic school from 4th-12th grades, including having to go through Catechism classes with the rest of the class in 8th, and I still have had to look things up. (I spent far too long researching about defrocking for a fic a year or two ago.)
