I think it can do 144hz @ 1440p, or 120hz @ 4k, in game mode the input latency is really good, I also super appreciate that it has a ”Film Maker Mode” so you can actually have like decent colors and contrast.

There’s also tons of adjustability in the settings, which is nice.

That’s exactly what my usecase was when I was looking for a tv a year ago!

I was looking specifically at latency, refresh rate, and the ability to airplay.

I ended up getting a Hisense U7K and it’s been excellent for gaming, and aside from a few weird hiccups streaming to the tv has been fine.

That both wasn’t as bad and took way longer than I expected. Hoses are out, and there’s a better look at the hose that split.

I hope I remember where everything goes, have ample annotated photos and labeled bins and parts so it shouldn’t be too bad. Just gotta get some hoses made.

It sucks when you realize that some muppet has previously worked on your car and did a garbo job. Thankfully all the things that made me ponder “what were they doing” have only been cosmetic items. So gonna add unfucking some of that stuff to the ”while you’re in there” list.

I’m always surprised at how easy some things are to get too in the Gallardo. I was dreading troubleshooting this hydraulic leak, and it took maybe 15 minutes to get too and find.

Replacing the line is gonna be quite a task, but with some help I’ll knock it out over a couple cold ones. 😁
