Everybody always wants to put me in a box. Kurt, you can't do this or that, that's not what I've decided you are! 😮
Boxes are for assholes with tiny minds. Be whoever you want to be, do whatever you want to do. No one gets to tell you what you are or are not capable of.

It's been FOUR years since I filed an NLRB charge against Apple, which was investigated and sent to DC recommending charge issue within MONTHS. It took THREE years for charge to issue and a hearing to be scheduled.
When Abruzzo was fired, and Carey nominated, the hearing was cancelled.

Every "impossible" thing humanity has overcome shares four traits:
- Flight? Time + information + tools + each other
- Moon landing? Time + information + tools + each other
- Disease eradication? Time + information + tools + each other
One thing seems pretty clear: we only get there together.

Nash Equilibrium as entropic exhaustion:
The convergence of every actor in an embedded system, taking the best actions within their informational and thermodynamic constraints from their observer-dependent position in the system, results in a system equilibrium.

Amazing life hack: learn how to be genuinely happy for other people. Don't feel threatened by others' happiness. Don't go into comparison mode. Don't be a wet blanket. Don't avoid it.
Embrace others' happiness. Bask in it. Let their smile become your smile. Let it infect you. Let it lift you up.

These are great.
1. Impact. How much revenue does my work protect or generate?
2. Quality. Does my work meet or exceed customer expectations?
3. Efficiency. Reward making the right buy versus build decision.
4. Reusability. How do others leverage my work?
5. Supportability. How much work do I create for others?

a question for the people who write code for money:
if you could wave a magic wand and have your performance/promotability measured on any 5 metrics of your choice, what would those metrics be?
