I think I’ve mentioned it before but discovering Jacques Ellul’s writing on propaganda as the creation of a totalizing information space where a message is reflected in all mediums and all forms to imply unassailability, as opposed to just “biased messages” was really what clicked for me

After reading this I browsed a couple of videos to see the gameplay in action and the music was... not what I expected from the screenshots. The epic 80s adventure movie vibe made me lowkey expect Indiana Jones to pop up from one of the blocks. 😄

Wouldn't that slow the production of fuel to later burn? Oil staying in oil form longer is good for lowering emissions despite a small spike when blowing up the thing (it's not an oil well continuously burning)

Funny thing - my brain shouted "AI!" before my eyes even focused the image while I was scrolling, let alone read any text or details. It's a very common color scheme for AI-generated "charts"*.

I deleted ALL AI features... and user growth went UP.

Everyone's busy adding Al to everything.
I did the same for indie10k.com but it didn't work.
I removed all of fancy Al stuff - Al coach, Al growth ideas, Al "personalized" advice - everything.
Guess what?
I see more registered users and higher retention.
That actually make me wonder why now i have one page with one button, without all that Al thingy, but it does better?
Here's my question:
Is Al feature actually helping SaaS grow?
