1. The history of baseball stadiums in Toronto goes back a century before the SkyDome opened.

With the Jays coming home for Game Six, I thought I'd share my old thread about it.

It begins all the way back in the 1800s with a place called the Toronto Baseball Grounds…

I've lived in very rural France. They drive reasonable cars with a hatchback when they aren't on the tractor.

They aren't driving work vehicles to town.

US automakers cater to the US that has sprawling suburbs and also is more rural than Cda.

Cda is more urban and the type of vehicle needed in Cdn cities is different than Texas or Georgia.

The EU needs to mature into something that can prevent Orban's BS. He is not just tipping off his people, but Europe as well.

Of the EU can be threatened by a nation leaving with a 50%+1 vote, it should be able to sanction and remove a member with 2/3 vote as well.

Neither a colonial tie to Britain nor the monarchy has protected Canada. What has protected Canada is solidarity, our ongoing social choice to have a highly educated populace, who we elected and the actions we support. Being a republic or not has no bearing on whatever lawlessness the US gets up to.
