Part of this may also be that just like video games in the US, these are huge corporation-wide, lowest common denominator-focused... well, slop. It's not just "not for everyone," it's "for everyone" and so it becomes "for nobody in particular, actually."

I think one of the biggest problems is that capeshit really just doesn't have any hold on morality anymore. It doesn't have anything to say and outright refuses to say the things it ought to, so all it has is an increasingly shrinking cadre of losers sticking to it.

It's trying, but badly.

Make no mistake, when the state imprisons a trans woman in a men's prison, it intentionally procures her for the purpose of having her raped. The statistics are extremely clear-cut and consistent in every jurisdiction where they have been collected. There is no way around them

Can't afford it. I sold everything I owned of value to move from Florida to Oregon, everything I had. If I try to do it again it wouldn't be half of the cost, and then I'd need income at my destination too, and my books don't quite sell enough for that.

I've been on HRT since May 2019. They're still growing. I have had to cycle weight though, up 20 down 20. Unfortunately most of it does go to the belly and band size, but I'm working on it. Might consider getting body sculpting done actually.

i think about this particular part of my transition a lot tbh. it will never not baffle me that incel dude’s biggest complaint (among themselves) is how women don’t play game and the ones who do are all manipulative sluts who need to be carried…

Neoliberal societies, at least western ones, are designed to use violence. The State has a monopoly on it, so it's said, and uses it to disrupt and marginalize for the comfort of its in groups. It is this violence that the fascist uses against its people.

We must demolish that mechanism for good.

They think they are better than you because they will kill you, because they are willing to use violence first and last, and you generally aren't. But when it doesn't work or when they're met with violence in turn, it doesn't work.

Notice that I don't say explicit violence, either.
