I saw something recently that said a strategy for adhd is you just need to commit to doing 30%. The full scope of 100% of a project is just too overwhelming. So just start with some thumbnails or sketches for now and then commit to another 30% another day or week. Any progress IS progress

Possibly? Idk I dislike linux for a variety of reasons (some reasonable some admittedly not very reasonable) so I’m sticking with Windows & Mac OS till it’s literally unusable for me

Yeah it makes me really uncomfortable, I think it’s a mix of people wanting him to be a himbo (because there are very few characters who can fit that popular character archetype in the game) & ableism.

Sumire’s bag is a stereotypical heroes bag, in that she is somehow able to fit way more than is logically possible into it, and also some of what she carries is questionable.

It is a healthy creative diet to not be pressured to think everything you make has to be a masterpiece.

A <1k word fic that is pure fluff or rough idea dumping is just as good for the fic writing ecosystem as 10k+ multi chapter fics.

Silly fanart scribbles are as necessary as full illustrations.

I also think this video essay serves as a testament to how the devs/writers for FFXIV have very much missed the mark in what made Shadowbringers such a popular expansion-- it was well written, narratively compelling, and dealt with heavy themes.
