Adding a new feature where you have to blow into a breathalyzer before logging in
I think every social media but especially this one needs a feature where you pick, I dunno, five trusted friends and if three of them press a little "posters madness" button on your profile within 24 hours of each other it logs you out for a week.

Dispatch looks like a lot of fun and right up my alley as a sort of playable sitcom but I don't know. They put a hot demon lady in it and she's not one of the romanceable options? This is one of those things where there's like one item in the cons column that outweighs all the pros.

As someone who went through everything Catholic school has to throw at you do you know how annoying it is to see the Pope drop really great lines about the power of cinema? I can't believe the same religion that made me get parental approval to check out The Golden Compass is lead by this dude.

It's transgender awareness week, and if you ever wanted to learn more about the history of transness in cinema, you could pick up our book CORPSES, FOOLS AND MONSTERS at your local library or purchase a copy. We wrote this book for trans people like us. Thank you.

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back

As blockbuster AAA games have streamlined themselves to the point half your interactions are contextual button prompts that trigger 5+ second animations and objectives are marked by an in game GPS, is it surprising some players have streamlined it a step further by just watching a streamer play it?

Every time I buy shoes with a metal component, like a zipper of the side or a horsebit on the front, I forget I live in a city that's like 50% cobblestone and end up sounding like I've got spurs a' jingle-jangle-jingling as I go riding merrily along to my office

All of today's Bond hand-wringing is really funny when you remember that 1) the novels and by extension the character enter the public domain in less than a decade, meaning they've got maybe two movies if they're quick and 2) Amazon paid a billion for full film rights to the character
November 11, 2025 at 10:56 PM
All this back and forth and when they do actually make another one it'll start with someone saying "But I thought you were dead!" to the new Bond and him pulling the "Reports of my death were greatly exaggerated." line and then they'll never mention it again.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

It will never not be funny to me that an important writer like Joyce Carol Oates who writes captial S Serious Literature is also really good at posting. It's like if Stravinsky had lived long enough to be really good at Animal Crossing too.

Anyone else have a game that you truly love but also where 50% of the time when you replay it you hit a point where you're like "Oh right, the rest of this is pretty rough" and you just stop?

For me, it's Resident Evil 7.

This happens every month, and every single month the internet decides to reward bad takes with thousands of views. You guys consistently give more attention to bad takes that would have NEVER gotten any views otherwise, than you ever do for creators who actually deserve attention
