i made myself a few princess hair brushes but i also made a color version specifically for clover sprites lol

front and back colored ones and then line versions for flat shading

we dont animate in the same framerate, the order in which voice is recorded and lipflaps are animated is different, storyboarding is a bigger demand here in america while a lot of the making it move magic is outsourced, (they also like to put ten thousand other tasks onto boarders for some reasn)

its so very odd bc ill see these comparison conversations that constantly devolve into making these sweeping assumptions about the staffs (and fanbases) feelings on anime and japan seemingly entirely bc the cartoon doesnt look the same as cartoons in an entirely different industry

i imagine the reason that anime inspired american cartoons look different from anime has to do with the fact that american cartoons are animated in an entirely different way.

that and like budget etc restraints, since ppl typically dont have the same complaints for like, avatar and teen titans. but like, atla is older and from a different studio than korra

generally most tools are gonna be better when specialized, an ai chatbot that is focused on engagement is going to try to keep you engaged which is not only frustrating but is proooobbbaabbly super undesirable for like, a business that wants your ass back at work lmfao

thign is they want bigger more powerful fish to use the service but i imagine that those ppl would prefer to work on their own specialized versions that is more lazer focused on the specific task needed instead of general use chatbot that learned about Horny from all the ppl trying to sext it.

even tho thyre wasting a lot of energy tbh i think its not necesarily because of high demand or anything, theyre building data centers they even dont rlly need trying to force ppl to use a service most ppl have no desire to use to the degree they need it used to make a profit...

the way ai is being shoved at ppl gives me the vibe of like... a failing gacha game lol. over saturated market atp and the "whales" aren;t enough to carry it so they're stumbling around trying not to EOS

i do obviously still have all my old demos, the 2018 build is straight up still uploaded to itch (on top of there being lets plays of it) so its by no means "lost media" but im mad at everyone right now so who knows if ill ever let ppl download it again
