This is a YouTuber with only less than 200 subs that has gotten double the views on this video since this screenshot. I don't think it ever needed to be dragged onto every platform and made the entire internets problem
I realize the main pattern of these animanga video essays made mainly by north Americans is that they seem to have an overconfidence in themselves to talk about a subject, just because they consumed enough anime about a certain genre, and don't bother to do proper research on jt

im getting sick of people constantly putting bad anime youtuber takes on blast when literally all its doing is boosting their views and subs and making it everyone else's problem. most of the time those ppl aren't even popular enough for their takes to have ltierally any impact.

if this happened to me i;d be crashing out yall. when i was showing off the old demo ppl were asking if they could DL it and i thought it had no point to it since it has lets plays and the script is the same, but if i had an actually different old version i would absolutely not let u have it lol
its not like its banned from steam lol they straight up say in the devlogs that its a separate thing.
its like if someone insisted the final product of a show was poorly written bc it didn't match some of the blurbs on the concept art (which i have in fact seen happen though...)

i found out a LOT of ppl think the "pilot episode" (aka the original game jam version) for amanda the adventurer is supposed to be canon and its killing me. why on earth would they have it be canon when its only on itch and entirely separate from the rest of the series which is on steam.
