Really enjoying @timmaughan.bsky.social’s Infinite Detail. It reads as if Islands in the Net crashed into The Long Tomorrow, but with its own colour and sound. 2020s cyberpunk done right.
She’s battled against that surname through thick and thin all her life, now her time has finally come.
The other big story is Baltus now ahead of his teammate. I’m almost sure that Canet was second in the standings at the summer break, he seems to have left his speed somewhere at the beach.
Acosta the most consistent rider in the non-Marc phase of the championship. Immensely changed from the guy who was throwing the bike into every gravel trap during the first half of the season.
Watched The Twits. This film’s only saving grace is knowing that if Roald Dahl was alive and watching this he’d be utterly horrified his name was involved in this. A beautiful thought.

It's fascinating to me that there's a whole "AI skeptic" misinformation ecosystem out there that somehow continues to deny that Waymo exists. Like, this is easy to fact check! Waymo runs publicly-available service in 5 cities, you can just go look up how it works and see it's not planned routes!
“What you fail to see, Mr Pope,” is an incredible sentence. I don’t even want to see how it ends, I’m just floored by that opening.
Does Moore’s Law apply to GPUs?
You could do a proper art project and cast him in every role in the film?

My semi-regular reminder of a really important reality about cities, density, services and taxes.

I don’t mind talking to ChatGPT but it annoys the hell out of me that it talks back. Like, give me ListenGPT or something.
The Lost Danish Broadcast? Is this like the Nixon tapes for Eurovision peeps?
I was yesterday years old when I started playing my first Zelda game. Link’s Awakening is a total delight.
This is a Monty Python skit, right? They’re going to come out one of these days and say it was all a bit of performance art, aren’t they?
This is delightful! Imagine the moment when people start accusing the actual pope of being a bot because he sounds just like the AI they’ve been playing with.
Still trying to work out how to get it IRL.
I have had to stop myself going “and stop calling me Shirley!” more often than I care to admit.

Did you or a family member once reside in Innsmouth?

Did you test positive for fish/cephalopod DNA?

You may be eligible to join a class action lawsuit.

Email: [email protected] and attach results of the DNA test.

(We are totally not trying to gather your info to return you to Cthulhu's bosom.)

Remembering that time I saw someone in the local supermarket wearing the “Running on tea, sarcasm and inappropriate behaviour” t-shirt from @www.joditaylorbooks.com’s wonderful Chronicles of St. Mary’s. Had a right kick from seeing another fan in the wild.
It occurred to me the other day that hope rhymes with cope.
