This is a horse and barn door situation since there has already been a No Kings protest with millions of people that was 100% peaceful. Not going to convince people it’s anything else now.

TBH, I don't think most people know that about her - or think about that first when they heard today. Even Mia Farrow was quick to say something kind about her today. But if you know, you can't forget. Just like Chrissie Hynde saying women "ask for it." Can't un-know that.

My Buy Nothing group is always a source of fascination for me. There is always a story. This week a woman is slowly giving away a house full of Harry Potter merch. All the books. A blanket. Two wands, one with a magic case and map. “This one really hurts," she wrote.

But hate and fear their kids? Never. Even the parents of kids who have the highest support needs want the best for them. As I told my own kid countless times, hostility comes out of fear and fear comes out of lack of understanding of differences. Ignorance is the problem here

I'm kind of stunned by how much vitriol there is toward parents of autistic people on this thread. I'm the parent of an autistic kid and have worked with many autistic children. I've never met a parent who hated their autistic child. Frustrated at lack of support? Yes. Worried for the future? Yes
