So finally finished my big AVFC 24/25 thread (having a toddler & newborn is hard man).
Our transfer activity is going to be quite limited, so I'll focus on why we had a down year & how we might improve with the same players; specifically turning tools into production in our new 22-25 year old core.

Anyone else surprised that we can’t compete for players with a nation state club who financially dopes their way to success, breaking the rules as they go, with one of the greatest managers in the game?

Was recording of my son at bath time and forgot to stop recording and put my phone in my pocket, so I’ve got 30 minutes audio of our bedtime routine together including bed time stories. It’s the best video I’ve ever made, I’ll be coming back to this for my years to come 🥹

The game plan was good, sit in and challenge them to beat us. They had the individual quality to score the goals and we took our only chance.
If anything the score line flatters us. Losing that third goal was really damaging.
Really proud of the lads though.
