At Villa he wasn’t involved in the build up all that much, and I wonder whether you think he will be at Newcastle?

When fit and sharp his ball carrying is elite, his finishing is good and his cutbacks from the edge of the box are class.

I’ll miss him, he has a high ceiling.

Bit surprised he hasn’t signed a new contract, but I suspect promise of more playing time, CL, bigger wages, massive club, great project and a fresh start are why he’s going.

He’s not really a CM in an Emery midfield, but Howe will get him pressing like a monster there.

Fucks sake, I hope Villa know what they’re doing. Ramsay is a profile we have covered in other players and he’s not hit his high ceiling for a few years, but damn what a player you have on your hands.

I wouldn’t sell him, even for £40 million.

There’s a free trial so worth using this to see if it works and see what latency is like, but the difference between paid and free tiers is huge. I’m a bit fan, I use it on my Lenovo handheld to get A+ games.

If it’s just for one game, it’s probably poor value a good gaming PC is over £1k.

GeForce now is a good shout.Ive got the premium subscription, absolutely no noticeable latency for me, but I’m not a pro gamer by any means. The visuals you get are incredible.

Good grief, often it’s too early to say but not many players can do that at 15 to experience professionals, even in pre season.

Who’s this?

What a great idea for a pod, I’m astounded that none of the big sporting journalism platforms thought of doing this.

Brilliant thread Dan, really insightful.

I know one thing for sure, Andy Burnham will be delighted with this piece of news.

Humanities subjects would be difficult for AI, but even if AI could mark multiple choice and keyword questions and was able to mark as much as it could recognise and leave the rest to humans then it would speed things up.

I actually think digital exams are more likely. We trialed OCR’s digital mocks recently and they worked well. The only problem is the awarding bodies don’t work together to standardise any process.

Don’t know much about AI marking but I can see a limited case for it. Tick boxes 😀

I run exams at a secondary school, in person is the only way in this setting I believe.

In the future digital exams could work well if well implemented but the pilots have been kicked back repeatedly.

I’ve got some up my arse, get me out of here!

HMT won’t care how it’s paid for or how this affects the club, they’ll just want to be certain of the investment.
June 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM
That’s not what I’m suggesting. I’m suggesting that fans are being promised something amazing, but we don’t know how it will be paid for and how that will affect the club in the future.

I tend to think that’s important, and I would have thought it would be more transparent.

To be honest, I’m surprised at how little scrutiny is being applied by Blues fans. The plans look brilliant, but doesn’t the bottom line matter?

We were almost burned by Dr Tony, and while I don’t think anything like that is happening, there is a chance this isn’t actually what the fans expect.

So all external investment? Does that mean that the stadium will be owned by investors that will take dividends?
