Emi Buendia has looked so sharp here since he came on. Could feel he might do something.

That really was an incredible goal from Cash, Digne & Buendia. Super stuff! #avfc #utv
THAT IS A BALON D’OR GOAL. FECKING HELL!

MIGHTY EMI BUENDIA! UP THE VILLLAAA!! #avfc #utv 🟣🔵
Very even game.

Think this is visibly the most where Villa have missed Youri Tielemans. Feel if he was central now, his ball-playing would help us take control of the game.

Plenty of bench options to go for the win here. UTV.

Decades after the Heysel and Hillsborough disasters, can politicians please not second-guess expert safety assessments for football stadiums.

Thank you.

An Aston Villa fan.
Amazing number of bald heads on show at the Aston Villa store 😂. Just shows how stressful it is supporting the mighty Villa. #avfc #utv
Yet another popular, well-reviewed restaurant on the local high street near me closes.

So many former cafes/restaurants up there which have closed in recent years & a fair few still lie empty.

Aware dining spots don't have the longest shelf-life, but some of these places were open for years.
Watched ‘A Real Pain’. Understated excellence. Funny & moving. Kieran Culkin, Jesse Eisenberg & Will Sharpe outstanding.

The concentration camp visit scene was done amazingly well.

Glad Culkin got a load of awards for it.
😂😂 poor guy never got over me avoiding his line of sight.

#AVFC had wanted Donyell Malen for three windows. Yet incorporating him into a system & position was complex. Malen has a curious profile - "he falls between the cracks," says one figure at another PL club - but Villa are now adjusting him to a new role.

Donyell Malen: The forward that offers a profile like no other — and how Aston Villa use him
Malen has settled in England since his move from Germany and now it seems Villa are find a way to settle him into their side

It was unbelievable to witness.
It was surreal to watch live in that second season. The Palace game fully made me grasp just how bad the situation was.

I'd say following Villa since '92 the only other manager who wound me up as much as Gerrard was O'Leary.
I went to Palace away where Villa lost 3-1. Could not believe how bad we looked. Midfielders vacating the centre of the pitch & running wide, giving nobody anyone to pass out to.

Douglas Luiz was benched(!?) & only when he came on with ten to go do Villa look vaguely coherent. #avfc
There's a few reasons Gerrard failed at Villa. Primarily, his tactics were abysmal. The first day of the season 2-0 loss at newly-promoted Bournemouth was a shocking moment after a full pre-season. He served up a shapeless debacle.

Then there's 'look me in the eye' & more. #avfc

In the stadium & think Lamare Bogarde has been exceptional. Really intelligent player. Makes the right decisions. Great to see someone come through the youth team & impose themselves like this. #avfc #utv 🟣🔵
I was! Ah, were you there? Would have been great to chat!
Can see from the stand that was a shocking foul on Buendia & the ref waved play on. Abysmal officiating. #avfc
Haha, I know Ireland haven't been great recently in football, but I don't the FAI are desperate enough just yet to give me a call 😂
Yep, definitely worth grabbing an EU passport if you can.

Doesn't seem to occur to a lot of people that we set up these organisations post-WW2 to stop the whole continent falling back into the bad, millenia-long warlike habits. Draining.
If you’ve ever had to endure carnet you’ll know Brexit was a completely pointless & self-defeating idea, which is particularly bad for small business. But the UK media/politics don’t have the courage to address it head on.

I’m lucky to have an EU passport & the opportunities it presents are great.
