akira yamaoka viewed his role in that game as a way to introduce hundreds of indie musicians to people in hopes that even just one would resonate with each player and let them find a new favorite. this is a disgusting and depressing repudiation of one of the few human and good things about the OG

in Metal Gear Arcade after in one of the missions you fight heavy bulletsponge soldiers that wear the MSF Battle Suit rendered in MGS4/MGO2 engine. You can't equip it as a player and it never released to MGO2 officially it was however ported to savemgo as a reward shop item
