I work in L&D, with a sideline in theatre. My interests include green issues, interesting old cars (mainly 60s, 70s, and 80s everyday stuff), SiFi, Theatre, and writing. I have an unfinished novel; who doesn't?

The particular way in which he was choosing to dice recklessly with death today was by trying to pay for a drinks bill the size of a small defence budget with an American Express Card, which was not acceptable anywhere in the known Universe.

A question for @hertscc.bsky.social why don't buses in Herts or at least the 907 in East Herts not have real time information? Having waited for a bus that just disappeared it makes using public transport unnecessarily difficult.

HELP! My two-headed albino dragon keeps fighting with itself? Tried contacting the breeder but they said this is normal with albies?

EDIT: people keep commenting that my dragon might be a merle instead of full albino but I have the paperwork that proves it is 100% albino. HELPFUL COMMENTS ONLY.

Christoph Waltz hunting Caleb Landry Jones in Paris sounds like a wild movie and it is; critics love contrarian opinions, but I enjoyed Luc Besson's Dracula more than the Netflix Frankenstein. US cinema release is slated for Feb, UK audiences can stream it now 4/5

In bringing car-like standards to interiors & roadability plus market influence, then yes…
And as this example demonstrates - it still looks the part…

I feel compelled to write a review thread 🧵 for The Liz Truss Show because in the madness of the content, other aspects - vital aspects - are being missed.

1. The Aesthetics

Unless they were aiming for "Harley Street urologist waiting room circa 1992" this interview area is just unacceptable. 1/

“If the Liz Truss Show is the “home of the counter-revolution” then the British establishment can rest easy. Truss’s opening monologue is delivered with all the verve and passion of a minimum wage hotel worker explaining at check-in where breakfast is served and how to find the elevators.”
Why are we funding pathetic, vengeful Liz Truss to lie about Britain?

I did a Fringe show about Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek, this was treated perhaps cruelly, perhaps not. I believe it did mark the high point of Gene's influence on the movies.
Star Trek: The Motion Picture was released 46 years ago today.

This film is truly unique within this franchise. I understand that it may not be the most accessible, but I love its tension, mystery, atmosphere, and curiosity.
