I work in L&D, with a sideline in theatre. My interests include green issues, interesting old cars (mainly 60s, 70s, and 80s everyday stuff), SiFi, Theatre, and writing. I have an unfinished novel; who doesn't?
The difficulties recruiting and retaining decent planning officers are huge. Like a lot of underfunded operations staff get stressed, staff are over worked, staff go off with stress, staff leave.
Hire new staff. Repeat.

So I have a question @monnett-social.bsky.social . Why does the app require permissions to access camera and microphone? I would understand if I was doing something live but to just post a photo it seems excessive.
