Got to meet Drew Struzan at a showcase of his work back in 2016 at Creature Features in Burbank, CA. He was so pleased by the recognition, love, awe, and admiration of his work by multiple generations. RIP.

I love vintage jazz & swing, especially Halloween-themed tunes from the ‘40s & ‘50s. Then I find this song. How did I miss this before? Well, I didn’t. It’s AI generated. There’s hours of this kind of stuff for background listening, and it’s enjoyable music. I feel so conflicted.

Rewatched TRON LEGACY, and then light cycled to the theater to watch TRON ARES. Tepid opening weekend box office, lots of people dunking on it & Jared Leto, but I found it perfectly enjoyable escapism nicely aligned with classic/new TRON storylines. (avoid the spoiler-filled trailer if possible!)
