✨ Last night’s auroras over Alaska looked like angel wings opening above the forest…
One of the most breathtaking displays this region has seen in years. 🌌💜✨

Since when is US allowed to close another country's airspace?
Any member of US armed forces, including Dump & his "Secretary of War", should be treated as criminals if attacking civilian aircrafts. Same with blowing civilian ships at sea. Enough nonsense: attacking Venezuela for its oil.

Happy Saturday! We had a mostly clear sky today but some low clouds provided a nice curtain for the sun to emerge from as it rose this morning. Tap for full size. I hope you have a great day!

Got out for a walk today. The sun feels so good. The winds from the last few days have fully stripped the trees. #Photography #nature #Pittsburgh

☀️🍁💛 Fri, Nov 28

Opportunities present themselves again today to see some whales. So far, seeing some orcas in Possession Sound right now (12:45) heading north off Everett.
Wonder if any others stayed inland.

Loganair kindly overflew Old Aberdeen and gave me a bird’s eye view of my old Aberdeen university residences at Hillhead. Yes, does look a bit like a prison complex.

Amazing photos from NASA of comets Lemon & SWAN show the towering ribbons of pink-red aurora: easy to see why it's those colors of lights people at lower latitudes usually see, as they are the ones higher in the atmosphere.

Simply gorgeous :)
