I always see people talk about how they want more representation, but when it's done, ESPECIALLY when it's done by people who did their research and are trying really hard, that media is attacked. It's not fair to the creators and it's not fair to you.

LTR - One of the biggest discourse I can see happening if I were to blow up is that mfs are mad my two male characters, Michael and Stephen, are platonically besties instead of ending up a couple... Even though Michael's literal soulmate is a transmasculine person 💀

Another issue with this is that it also makes queer spaces in Fandom more toxic people are gonna feel alienated in regards to expressing themselves if people keep acting like this in the spaces that should keep them safe and will become unusable
