WTF, Oregon. Get your freakin' COVID shot.

Oregon Health Authority Communicable Disease and Immunization Medical Director Howard Chiou told OPB that around 9% of Oregonians, or 360,000 people, had received this season’s COVID-19 vaccine. Chiou said that figure is 21% lower than this time last year.

By far, my favorite holiday tradition is my hummingbirds giving me the business while I put my Christmas lights up. 🥰🐦🎄

This is good. Sure, the ultra rich don't give a shit about us but it's the selfish co-worker that caught my attention. Don't be that person. Let others enjoy the goodies along with you - and especially in times like now, appreciate where the goodies came from.

Also, ham balls? What?
The billionaires and the corporations are taking all of the goodies. Keeping all the good things for themselves.

They are scooping out all of the big pieces -- licked their spoons clean.

They are mounding over their plates over and sneaking away.

Ah, yes. Tis the season for people returning from their holiday getaway sick - then sharing it with the folks back home.

FFS, get your shots and wear a mask in crowded spaces to help prevent a miserable Christmas and New Year's. 💉😷

Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley‬ might not get the attention of some of his counterparts but you can bet he's fighting hard to stop the b.s. coming out of what's left of the WH.
I'm thankful for everyone who has raised their voices, protested, and pushed back against the creep of authoritarianism. Together, we can save our We the People democracy! Thank you for being in this fight with me.

"buy cheaper turkey next year" is quite a message coming from a Trump WH overseeing growing economic pain...
Kevin Hassett: "Turkey prices were down 19 cents. I bought two different ones because some other show was criticizing me because I said, 'Oh, generic turkeys are pretty good.' So I made two this time and I didn't really notice the difference, so buy the cheaper turkey next year, folks."

Took a few tries to get the Apple TV Black Friday deal to finally work but persistence won.

$5.99/month for 6 months is more than plenty for getting caught up with Loot, Palm Royale, The Morning Show, and Pluribus which I have no idea what it's about but hear it's really good. 📺

Would love to ask the folks who lined up before dawn at Target for a swag bag “filled” with goodies and walked out with a reusable grocery bag and a pack of Uno cards, “how does it feel to get played?”

I honestly do not know why anyone is still loyal to that store. This is hilarious though 😂

My health insurance premiums will more than double in January. I pay a little less than $500/month for my current silver plan.

I just reapplied and my new premium will be $1062/month.

And don’t forget: I still have a co-pay for every visit and pay for prescriptions.

Huh. Floating solar panels? Never heard of 'em but we got LOTS of water along the west side of our state. 🤔

Floating solar panels haven’t gained much traction in the United States, but they’re becoming more common in places like China and South Korea.

A new study from Oregon State University suggests they could play a much larger role in the United States.

Bought my first-ever air fryer earlier this week and am now burning off the stinky new appliance smell that so many in the reviews bitched about but didn't bother burning off themselves. Now what to cook first! 🤤
