Don’t miss OREGON’S ONLY GIANT CHERRY DROP, happening 6-9pm on New Year’s Eve in beautiful downtown Milwaukie! 🍒
Here's a poster I did for Milwaukie's upcoming New Year's celebration. The Bing cherry was first cultivated here & we have a lot of geese. I sketched this out last year &, although the arts committee didn't ultimately go with it then, it was popular enough that it was requested for this year's event

I love soccer and I remember each World Cup with great intensity and always so much look forward to the next. But FIFA that was disgusting, even more disgusting than usual, and now I just can’t. And won’t.

Oh! The latest Elsbeth... How do the writers do it? The main storyline was based on an IRL story a few months ago and prime to riff on, but the evidence was like the universe heard about it and wanted to play. And the zinger at the end? 🎯

Heads up if you have an Apple account. $$
I received a "Critical Account Security Alert" from "Apple."

It purports that someone tried to charge $143.95 to my account and wants me to log-in with my password.

A quick Google search revealed that "$143.95" has been charged to THOUSANDS of Apple accounts.

I hate being scammed by the lazy.

The West Coast Health Alliance has issued guidance continuing to recommend the hepatitis B vaccine for all newborns who weigh more than 4.5 pounds, hours after a CDC panel voted Friday to stop recommending hepatitis B vaccines for all newborns.
Washington, other West Coast states, go against CDC, recommend hepatitis B vaccine for all newborns
That goes against what the federal government has recommended for nearly 35 years and against the guidance of medical organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Oregon expert weighs in on CDC decision ending universal newborn hep B vaccines
Under the new guidance from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the vaccine would only be recommended for infants whose mothers test positive for hepatitis B or, possibly, whose status is unknown.

There is blood on the hands of Donald Trump, RFK, and every Republican who has allowed this sham to go on for far too long. When kids die unnecessarily and once-eradicated diseases darken the doors of terrified families and pediatricians, Americans will know who is responsible.
Breaking: After contentious debates and three failed attempts at a vote, a federal vaccine committee decided on Friday to end the decades-long recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

NEW info on shipwreck attack. It gets worse.

The 2 survivors climbed atop wreckage and waved to overhead.

"Some of the people viewing the video thought ... could have been an attempt to surrender"

Others "said the most logical explanation was ... signaling for a rescue."

Oregon: This is a big deal. Dan's been kicking legal ass for us and he needs Governor Kotek's assistance and support to keep it up.
Governor Kotek has consistently stood up for Oregonians and the values we share. We’ve worked side by side against harmful federal actions, including opposing troop deployment in Portland. She’s the partner I need to continue this fight, and I am proud to support her re-election.
As your Governor, I’ve never been prouder to work for you - and with you. But the fight isn’t over. I’m running for reelection because Oregon values are on the line.
