Why would they
Can't the squirrels
Go someplace else
And the deer
Doesn't the outside know
Why it's there
Is not for them
To make me choose
Seems so unfair

A drop of rain to bring us near
To that sky of dreadful hate
Unknown to which such men make
So watchful stares can bring us toward
An empty feeling of more war
