I seem to feel this way, too, no matter how much mindfulness and gratitude I bring towards any given moment. Sometimes I feel like the best I can do is pick out one moment in a day and savor it. I really feel this haiku.

Here is a macro photo I took of our last bi-color snapdragon in the front garden. The day was beautifully grey and rainy. Though there was no chance of seeing a tropical sunset, this flower held the might of dusk's glory in its misty face. This scoop of autumn sherbert glows against green peeps of background bokeh. Bending in for a closer look with my camera, I became enchanted by the perfect spheres scattered across its pink-red-orange-yellow petals. Within each crystal ball raindrop, a small universe of color and light. Their augury? My new 3-5-3 haiku:
