The unthinkable has happened in Tumbler Ridge. Terrible, terrible tragedy due to gun violence. My deepest sympathy to all the family and friends of the victims, my warmest thoughts to the first responders, and indeed the entire community who have suffered such a shocking loss.
Broken heart but it has the Canadian flag on the heart instead of just being red or whatever.

The myth that O&G is the end-all and be-all for Albertans continues despite 10s of thousands of jobs lost over the last few years, despite increased production and profits for the companies. Albertan workers don't benefit, but the foreign owned companies & their investors do.

Just as he stretched up to look outside from the middle perch a male Mule Deer happened to be passing through the yard. It caught him by surprise and he crouched down with his front paws on the window sill and ears slightly flattened to keep a low profile. I think he was wondering what this large imposing thing was. That, or figuring out if he could take it down.
