Hi I’m Dana. Former Project Manager now SAHM. I believe walkable & bike friendly communities aren’t just for cities. I find joy in the minutiae of municipal government because we can have nice things. My hobbies include riding bikes, walks in the park with my family, and reading comp plans.

This happened in my neighborhood today. Residential, only one car can get by at a time if someone is parked on the street. Luckily it was raining because at that time of day parents like myself are out with small children. If someone was at that mailbox they’d be dead tonight. Cars ruin communities.

I dont know who needs to hear this but if you are a Democrat you are the Democratic Party. If you want change you need to make it happen. Get involved with your local, do the work, & get your voice heard. No one is listening to an email or social media comment telling them what they should be doing.

I cant advise on a root canal but I smashed my front teeth bad in a bike crash (my fault) and had a dentist bond them with the stuff that they make veneers out of. Its lasted 20+ years on 2 of the teeth and the only reason its failed on the 3rd is because that one hits my bottom teeth and chip it.
