Watching the way Staal plays in front of the net on the power play the last couple nights, I feel like nobody else does what he's doing. His size compared to the other forwards helps. Something for me to watch for going forward when he's not on the ice.

Last time the Cardinals picked 13th it was 2008, they drafted Brett Wallace who would be a top 100 prospect in 2009 before being traded as part of a package for Matt Holliday that year.
The Cardinals will draft 13th overall in the first round. They slid five spots. It is lottery madness.

Weird timing considering this study was just published.

RWR is leaving Ford and going to Chevy and I feel like everyone is trying to read into Ford's motives. I feel that a team like RWR, if they get anything, is more of a resource drain for a manufacturer anyway. Now, if RFK or Penske or even FRM was leaving, then we have a story.

And that’s why we call him Boom.
Nikishin just flattened Matthew Wood. Good, clean hit, but Predators go after him.

Canes get a PP.

Hall actually was heads up on that play and took the puck for a breakaway, but officials blew it dead before that could happen.

That little kick save by Bussi is the kind of break that Andersen can’t buy right now. He’d have kicked it right into the goal because that’s how his season is going right now. #Canes

This turned out to be a brilliant idea when trying to get to an awkwardly placed clamp screw. Because I definitely dropped it several times and would have otherwise had to try to fish it out the bottom.

Saturday 10 AM: Delivered.

Saturday 10:45 AM: Installed.

Saturday 11:05 AM: Test cycle concludes. No leaks!
Ordered part Saturday, ETA Monday.

Monday: No update.

Tuesday: Told it hadn't shipped.

Wednesday: Found out it shipped Monday. ETA Wednesday.

Thursday: FedEx sent it to South Carolina for funsies. ETA Friday.

Friday: ETA Saturday.

I'm about to just wrap the hose in Flex Tape and call it a day.
Found the leak. Replacement part on the way.

Putting a rubber hose within reach of the tub when it's spinning is really not a great engineering decision. Seems to have eventually put a hole in it. But I'd rather replace this every five years than almost any other repair on it.

A leaking washing machine was not part of the plan for this long weekend.

Realizing tonight that the reason my 12 year old is borderline yelling all the time these days is because if he puts any less volume into it, his voice cracks. It is that time of life, I guess.

The more I watch Gostisbehere, the more this is true.
I’ve been impressed by Shayne Gostisbehere in the playoffs. Adding another playoff goal. #RaiseUp

Station wagons and wood paneling on the sides of cars. We're so back! 🙄
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

Because you're an adult you fucking muppet. You gotta pay the magic forward.

My reaction to the salary cap talk is that there is nothing in the CBA to stop MLB from improving their revenue sharing or teams from spending more money.

NASCOURT time. As a sports business lover, this case has been like a Christmas present for me that makes me wish I was still writing. I still can't believe that we got here without finding some way to settle. The sport will be forever changed on the other side regardless of who wins.
