STEPHANOPOULOS: I didn't insinuate anything. I asked you whether Tom Homan accepted $50k as was heard on an audio tape recorded by the FBI in September 2024. You did not answer the question. Thank you for your time.

I spoke w/ Politico about how Dobbs further disrupted and destabilized clinical research with people who are pregnant or capable of becoming pregnant. The lack of data makes it easier to spread misinformation and instill unwarranted fears....
alicemiranda.bsky.social
A decades-old problem (underrepresentation of all women, but especially pregnant women, in medical research) is getting worse.

Post-Dobbs, “fear of liability is a regularly cited obstacle” to enrolling pregnant women in medical studies, according to a 2024 @nationalacademies.org report.
RFK Jr.’s got advice for pregnant women. There’s limited data to support it.
Women of reproductive age have long been missing from clinical trials. It’s getting worse where abortion is banned.

JD Vance blames Chuck Schumer for the fact that the White House mistakenly laid off key public health officials, including those dealing with measles and ebola.
The Trump regime's message is: We demand total power, but we're not responsible for anything.
atrupar.com
BRENNAN: CBS confirmed the Trump administration rescinded the layoffs of CDC scientists. Some were involved with the federal measles response. How does a mistake like this happen?

VANCE: The govt shutdown inevitably leads to some chaos. It happened because of Schumer

B: But this was a WH decision

The deportation order is based on Vedam’s conviction for murder—a crime he did not actually commit and for which he’s now been wholly exonerated. He entered the US at 9 months old and was a legal permanent resident before his conviction. We are so, so, so far from the light of justice.

After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

Depraved.

This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.

I am not fearful — I am fearless.

We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights..

This country is built on a rule of law with a justice system, not just committing violence against people you declare guilty--or declaring everyone who opposes your point of view as guilty.

We have got to turn out and vote in every election until these folks do not hold positions of power any more.

My gosh. After the US bombed multiple boats in the middle of the ocean, murdering people on grounds that they were allegedly "carrying drugs," the US Attorney General says "Just like we did with cartels, we're going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa."

Democrats have a chance to do some good AND win some elections by reminding voters that they want reasonable and effective solutions to crime in their communities—not photo ops and power grabs that do not solve the problem.

for this i have to give a shoutout to my neighborhood bike shop. i had popped by to ask if they had the particular bike — the tern vektron — in stock and the owner said he would reach out to tern about availability. the next day, he called to let me know that another person was trying to sell hers!

We must now start calling this what it is: Trump’s Invasion. It started with federal agents, it will soon include deploying federalized members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and it will now involve sending in another state’s military troops.

According to the City of Paris, in the last 10 years 150K trees have been planted & 45ha of parks created in the already hot city, all intended to not only improve quality-of-life today, but also help the city adapt to & manage summer heatwaves of 50℃ (122F) by 2050.

Just the start.

Common sense.

Everyone is trying to have a normal Saturday night and the president's top advisor is on X announcing that civil war is necessary
@StephenM on X: Legal insurrection. The President is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, not an Oregon judge. Portland and Oregon law enforcement, at the direction of local leaders, have refused to aid ICE officers facing relentless terrorist assault and threats to life. (There are more local law enforcement officers in Oregon than there are guns and badges in the FBI nationwide). This is an organized terrorist attack on the federal government and its officers, and the deployment of troops is an absolute necessity to defend our personnel, our laws, our government, public order and the Republic itself.
