If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

When choosing the life of a masked monster, the rules to live by are often categorized as a list of Scooby-Doos and Scooby-Don'ts.

There’s an added sting reading this from someone who was side by side with me at our earliest steps in the writing as adults journey.

As a lesson with some hope though, he never gave up and I did (often) and it shows.

Harry, the writer of this elegy for many things besides a guy but also for a guy and guys (writers) like him, is someone that a writing program once thought was of the same skillset as yours truly. Harry always stood out and continues to do so. I care about that.

Caught a glimpse of myself in the morning mirror under the stormy-dim skylight and now I can’t stop thinking about how my face is just a bunch of openings.

Tend to the holes. Decorate the holes. Shelter the holes.

Okay, but we can all agree that Linda Blair’s hair in SUMMER OF FEAR is a phenomenon unto itself, right?

I took a break from getting up at 5am when I changed jobs over the summer and the effect was… not good.

Rise and shine, witches.

Every time someone I respected, especially creatives, posts one of those fad horror AI portraits, I die a LOT inside.

I’m very close to not alive at this point.

I mean, if this isn’t a “revenge look”…
Bare-chested Sean Connery with a ponytail and many, many women

All I’m saying is Shooter McGavin would probably have a similar take
One is horror producer Jason Blum and the other is golf legend Shooter McGavin

There’s an interview going around about AI, so before there are any questions, let me state unequivocally that BLACK PHONE 2 is 100% organic. AI was not used at any stage of the filmmaking from idea generation, research, look books, writing, onscreen images - anything. We’re old school and love it.

It's always an honor to be able to contribute to the pages of Fangoria, especially when I get to be listed alongside such amazing individuals. I was thrilled to sit down with icon Ernest Dickerson for TWO separate interviews regarding the anniversary of DEMON KNIGHT and his work on DAY OF THE DEAD!

There can be no greater professional satisfaction than working with folks who see you, understand what you’re trying to do, and get it.

My team gets it 🖤

Working for Fango is literally a childhood and lifelong dream fulfilled. I am especially honored to be here for this incarnation under our EIC @philnobilejr.bsky.social who I witnessed taking the mag in a direction I deeply wanted to be a part of.
