My DMs on here no longer function because I refuse to give a social media platform my social security number or ID because the government demands it. We did not vote for this.

I’ll still be on here but if you’re trying to DM me and can’t, let me know and we’ll figure something out.

I watched this in August (great movie!) but forgot to include it in the challenge, so putting it in here at the midpoint.

“We’ll take that trip. Definitely.”

Sweat inducing. For me, the “cure” is found by mentally fragile people giving into repressed emotions. But who among us isn’t mentally fragile? The “devil” enters through a cross (X) and the idea of control replaces faith. Much to think on. Scared me.

I still can’t believe this. Just one of those iconic talents who you felt would be around forever. I feel like how my parents generation must’ve felt when they started losing Old Hollywood stars every couple months. We’re losing our New Hollywood fixtures.

Not quite as good as Felidae. 😂 My daughter loved it, which made me happy so that’s good enough for me. I’m sure when it hits Netflix I’ll see it a dozen more times. Lol.

I just do what I can and don’t sweat it. I’ve never made it to 100. I just like to watch as many as I can/feel like.

She was in lesbians with her. But bitch was cray.

Good movie! Fonda and Leigh really bring energy and wonderfully layered performances to what would be (and has been) a TV movie narrative.

Ah ok. Must’ve been the sentencing I saw. But what a shame to fall into such hatred, especially after writing a work condemning it.

Great film though, and very much against cruelty. Thanks @onlymcfisherman.bsky.social for putting it on my radar!

There’s a 8 book series, this is based on the first, and I’d love to read it but I discovered that unfortunately the writer, ironically, proved to be a Nazi himself and was jailed for his anti-Islamic hate speech and encouragement of violence and the books were pulled from print.

A gruesome German neo-noir horror film that follows a cat who unravels a mystery behind a string of feline murders. Gregor Mendel nightmares, cat gods, a reckoning with Nazism, and a stellar Boy George song, this is for the grownup Secret of NIMH kids who dare to venture darker.

A odd hidden gem. The anxieties of adolescence - sex, abandonment, death, birth, and possession explored through the lens of an 11 year-old boy obsessed with blindness and violence. A disquieting film with a pervasive sense of unease, not due to what it shows, but what it hides. “I like looking.”

Very well done and believable. Even got me a bit creeped out at the end. Can’t imagine watching this live in ‘92 and not knowing it was a work of fiction. Much credit to Lesley Manning for essentially developing the Blumhouse found footage/home haunting film formula.

Hahaha! Hell yes!!! Anna Zlokovic’s “Coochie Coochie Coo” is my favorite, and Alex Ross Perry’s “Kidprint” is the most disturbing, but man, not a weak link here. I think it’s my favorite of the V/H/S series. I hope these are made yearly forever.
