Hello new followers! My name is Rosy & I am a disabled multimedia artist & creative writer formally trained as a traditional animator at CapU! I'm an AuDHD tree hugger who can have some Opinions (sorry) & I try to advocate for wildlife, particularly wolves. I post a lot of pictures of my cats!

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

I couldn't believe how huge it was! Churro's entire body can coil up in the palm of my hand so the leaf must be like a gigantic camping tarp to him hehe. ❤️

I'm hoping that the big leaf will help him feel comfier with his basking rock since he prefers to cryptic bask! The leaf should provide cover so that he can use his rock.❤️🍁

Also, since he's nocturnal in the future I'm going to try to feed him in the evening instead of during the day. ❤️❤️

Baby rosy boa Churro has officially eaten twice since I got him!!! 🥹❤️ It also looks like he might be going into his first shed. ❤️❤️

On the weekend we drove somewhere that had absolutely ginormous maple leaves so I brought one home as an enrichment present for the lil' guy.

Poking out from between a trio of rocks is part of the coil of a tiny baby Mexican rosy boa, Churro; his body is cream with three black dorsal stripes and some adorable black freckles on his tummy.

A gigantic orange and brown maple leaf lays on grey gravel with my gaitered feet for comparison flanking the leaf; it is longer than my feet and as big as a dinner plate!

Another speciman of leaf, this one bright yellow, held up against the back of my dad's headrest in our truck for scale. It's enormous!

The same leaf, a bit browner now from having been oven-cured, sitting in Churro's enclosure on top of his large basking rock. Hopefully it'll help him feel comfier chilling on his rock!
