The Young Republicans of New York appears to have been mostly a dine and dash club for grifter racists. At least three incidents of stiffing hospitality bills: "a former Donald Trump campaign staffer alleged the group owed $7,000 to Redneck Riviera, a bar and live music venue in Nashville"

Giunta resigned just before Politico reported that his group had not paid off a bill of more than $14,000 for a holiday party in December 2023 at the National Women’s Republican Club in Manhattan.

The Young Republicans’ previously unreported debt in Syracuse followed on the heels of the Manhattan party and a trip by Giunta and club leaders to Nashville last year when he was campaigning for a position to lead the Young Republicans on a national level.

He's a dangerous nominee, and we all need to speak up. Here's a script you can use to call your senators:

Call your senators at

and say:

Hello, my name is [blank] and I’m a constituent from [blank]. I’m calling to urge the senator to publicly oppose the nomination of Paul Ingrassia to lead the Office of Special Counsel.
Not only is he completely unqualified, but he has called government workers “parasites” and promoted conspiracy theories.
He should not lead an agency that is responsible for protecting federal whistleblowers and employees.
I urge the senator to reject this nomination.
