I find it funny that Valve is now releasing a dedicated linux-based PC to general consumers.
Especially after I spent the time purchasing a NUC, and manually flashing ChimeraOS onto it so I could basically have a 'Steam Machine' of my own for dedicated retro emulation.
FML man, hahaha.

Diamond Plate is showing up tomorrow for the Riser Booster, so that'll be fun to work on in the short-term for the arcade cab.

Yet another update on the modded arcade cab!
I was able to figure out how to get Steam integrated with Batocera and now I have titles like Balatro, Demon's Tilt, and a few other arcade-like games on it.
The amount of games and content that this has available for it, just increased like 1000x.

Recently installed the Riser Booster for it so it's now 6 in higher than it was previously.
Much better height to play while standing.
New monitor mount is on its way, still waiting for the XL control Panel to ship out though.

Man this game not only has a unique aspect that you play from but the music and the game itself are SO addictive. Cannot recommend it enough for shmup enjoyers.

It's crazy to me how a single person can negatively affect the entire development of a project.

I'm going to be putting a GMKtec mini-PC into this, along with new Joysticks, Buttons, 19" Monitor, LED Marquee, and maybe more.
Not all at once, but it's main platform will be Batocera. Gonna be my at home arcade.
Modding and 'upgrading' a MKII Legacy Cabinet from #Arcade1UP.
