Day 9: BEWITCHING 🧙‍♀️🐈‍⬛

#SuperBatober #Inktober #inktober2025
SUPERBATOBER 09: BEWITCHING -- Catwoman has just pulled of another of her classic and witchy heists, a cat-eared diamond and cauldron full of jewels in her mitts. Batman is too entranced by her beautiful "spell" to do much about it (at the annoyance of Batgirl and endearment of Supergirl).
This was my feeling with Catwoman. She isn't included so I got a pass to skip it.🐈‍⬛

INKTOBER day 2

ABSOLUTE CATWOMAN

I was lucky enough to be able to draw Absolute Batman on a cover, but not Catwoman! So I couldn’t skip it! It had to be the next one!
Thanks to @ssnyder1835.bsky.social & @nickdragotta.bsky.social for this stunning run!🔥

81/530: THE BATMAN, Season 3, “The Laughing Cats” (2005)

Okay, I’ll say it: I like the Season 3-5 opening theme better than the Season 1-2 theme by The Edge. While undoubtedly inspired by the lighter toned Teen Titans, that Neal Hefti keyboard combined with that Hawaii 5-0 guitar is just a zinger.
This pretty much sums up my experience of reading H2SH.
Panel from Batman #161 written by Jeph Loeb and drawn by Jim Lee and Scott Williams.

It depicts a close-up of Batman's face and the captions read "I am angry. Not only at this situation. With myself."

The Batman: The Animated Series episode "Cult of the Cat" debuted on this day (Sept. 18) in 1998. This TNBA-era episode finds Catwoman the target of a crazed cat cult, and goes to Batman for help, in what's also the Feline Femme Fatale's final series appearance! #BatmanTAS #Batman

Looks like the account has had a swell of new follows so it's time for another heads up that I filter for bots and BS accounts. I do block if it seems you're not a real human, mining for engagement, and I support artists and will block all AI users and accounts.

Aside from that, welcome, everyone!🐈‍⬛

I love that the Ancient Egyptian word for cat was an onomatopoeia. They didn't name cats and called them by the sound they made: Miu.

On September 12th, 1992 "The Cat and the Claw: Part 2" aired on the FOX network as part of their FOX Kids block of programming. The episode was 16th in the production order but aired as the eighth episode for the series which was, at the time, airing daily on the network.

If you're in the area and looking to spend some money on some funnybooks, call dibs on a Batman '66 compendium. You won't regret it!
I'm packing some books for OKLAHOMA! If someone is sure they want a Batman '66 Compendium (it has everything by everybody), let me know tonight so I pack enough please. Same with the Silent Knight collections
The Batman '66 Compendium, with a red cover drawn by Mike Allred. And a SILENT KNIGHT trade collecting the first miniseries, hey
Mostly thinking out loud, here, not specifically fishing for an absolute answer to the question. Still have some thinking to do on the matter.

If you enjoy the posts on this account, though, and think I should continue while the show is on hold, wouldn't hurt to leave a comment or a like.🐈‍⬛
That said, I wondered if folks still find enjoyment or value in the kind of posts I do. For the most part it's a fun thing to do, and I love representing Felina Selina, but there are times where keeping this up feels like genuine work and I ponder the value that this account adds.
I've been pondering the status of this account, lately. After taking a bit of a hiatus, I returned to regular posting this week. I just kind of felt inspired to even though the podcast this was created to support has experienced some delays and is currently on hold.
