I draw it that way on purpose. My anatomy has a cartoony bend to it. Feel free to draw your waists however you like though.
Nice - Remember not to make the waist too thin unless you’re going cartoony. That’s the tendency now with some comic-book artists when drawing women - tiny waist and enormous thighs.
