I was going to write a long diatribe about this horrendous person Dr. Mary Tally Bowden but I’m so sick of her attitude I’m going to just leave this here.

Bottom line she’s still fully licensed just like all the ethical, caring doctors in Texas and that renders licensure absolutely meaningless.

It probably has something to do with this. It was in the MAHA list of actions they’re taking to destroy science, medicine and the truth. These same medical schools sat silently while their faculty were relentlessly attacked by the modern Republican Party. Now they’re getting destroyed.

They’re also resurfacing the “life not worthy of living” justification so readily accepted by the German people before and during WWII. They’re using both the coercive power of the state (ICE ect) and the bureaucratic machinery (Medicaid cuts) to meet these ends.

I volunteer as your Dr. Leo Alexander. I know all the doctors, and the charges, using plain existing statute.

They have been threatening to hang me and my doctor colleagues for years for defending science. Garbage like this. What they did to us in real life was much worse than nasty tweets.

I think anyone with a pathway out should at least get started on the paperwork ect. Things will only get worse until the Republicans achieve total domination of public and private life. They don’t want you calling them Nazis because it’s far too accurate.

ER doc here. I live EMTALA everyday (or did until I moved to Canada recently).

Here’s a good academic discussion of the Republican Party’s false claim that EMTALA = insurance. Regardless, all Americans depend on EMTALA daily and it’s a critical part of the medical safety net for all Americans.

I think it’s a mistake to overestimate Miller’s role in the modern Republican Party’s propaganda machinery. Miller is a clown, and he’s no Goebbles to be sure. But he’s a distraction from the bigger point: as a movement, they’ve skillfully deployed Nazi propaganda for years, especially projection.
