after 8 episodes of splat chat. I'd like to ask some questions about it. What do you guys think so far? I wanted to make sure this podcast didn't feel like every other podcast on the Splatoon market. Are we doing a good job on that? What are we missing?

Like many high-level to top players, my motivation for the game has been at an all-time low.
To be fair, I work and go to grad school, so I am usually busy or just too tired. Hypernova is what keeps me playing this game in the present.
I am still being optimistic for the future, so let's see 🤞

For streams do vertical streams. New feature so yt pushes it more and clickbaity titles seem to be working more now for some reason
For long form content highly edited high quality videos is what the algorithm prefers. The algo also likes fostering community on the channel rather than posting and dipping until the next video. They want you to bring your audience from elsewhere to YT so mention vids elsewhere. The algo pushes ALL of your vids to people who already watch your content. Good for maintaining but not ideal for growth. Low effort content like react content is on the way out like Youtube alluded to. Create INTRIGUE. Add a sentence posing a question or creating intrigue at the start of the video. This is also known as a hook. It's important for short-form content right now. Use the following to help: "Have you ever..." "Did you know..." "You can see the moment he realized..." "For those who dont know..." [Name someone popular to your community or a celebrity] [relatable statement]
Memes also on the rise on shorts.
Always focus on good packaging (thumbnail and title) No matter what rlse you do a good video will be good and will do well and a bad video will do poorly.
