I want to write up a small thread on improvement, some flaws in understanding the game, and what top players are good at (so #compsplatoon )
The main thing I want to get across in this thread is practicality and simplicity, the easier something is the faster it is, and faster is usually better.

Race to Crown has now completed 17 of 24 tournaments this season. With the points from yesterday’s championship, Lobster has secured his spot for next year’s AREA CUP Crown with 193 points.

By far the most refreshing thing I remember playing JP tourneys in S2 was just how seriously they took being on-time. Rules called you a "war criminal" if you did not join a lobby within one minute of it being made 😭

Its been a few months since Moonlight has moved away from Tent comps and while I personally really enjoyed and felt they meshed with that playstyle I do think it was the right decision, I feel like Tent has been struggling more and more since splash started to drop off and zooka got nerfed.

I don't think many buffs would be good enough to deal with sblast/slosher pairing rn because of how small they are but I think the best candidate would be a wiper buff. 65 dmg charge slash or like 1 frame faster fire rate would help a bit the kit is great into those weapons imo.

I agree with this statement, I've reached pretty high ranks in other games and splatoon is just really hard. The TTK is insanely fast, mechanics matter here alot than other games, high APM, over 100 variation of maps/weapons, and gear building. At least getting into competitive matches is easy.
something i think we don't recognize enough is how genuinely difficult splatoon is
like. it is the fastest paced shooter game out there, with the most unique movement mechanics, and you've either got MOTION CONTROLS or sticks without aim assist

Not sure what to do with streaming honestly. I've been having significantly worst wrist pain doing splatoon and haven't found a solution.
Variety viewership has been at an all time low regardless of time of day, especially on the games I actually want to stream.
