I'm glad they're still releasing games on the Switch 1 because I checked the 2 prices on a whim and $630 is wild.

We're yelling at Microsoft for that price range but Nintendo is doing it too 😭

I will say, one concern I have with ZA is that they'll make the same mistake they did in XY which is that you basically don't get to use Megas until the post game.

I was so disappointed by XY where there were only like 25 Megas, 20 were post game, and 24 were late game.

Reviewed Ys vs Trails for anyone interested in my longer thoughts, but the simple idea is:

If you enjoy Falcom and arena fighters, and can spare $35, it's worth it for some dumb, mindless fun.

I mean, technically I rolled credits on Nier Automata.

I didn't roll the other 42 credits the game has or whatever but I did roll credits.

I played the original Shining Force as a kid but either I was bad, it was too hard, or both. Never went back but have surprisingly fond memories.

Played Shining Resonance a couple years ago and it was great, though!

Also TIL it's a whole series. I thought resonance was just a spiritual successor 😅

Anyway I wasn't expecting vampire maid Lacey as the Halloween unit but I'm not complaining.

Gen 9 really did go all out with its characters. She's so cool.

Persona 5 X: Look at me with my vastly superior currency output, pull rates, and pity system! It's a shame you never pull the units you want. You must have bad luck.

Pokemon Masters EX: Oh you want to pull a unit? It has like a .001% pull rate, but yeah, you can have the unit you want in 5 pulls 🙂

It's kinda funny, as someone who wasn't a big fan of PLA (except for Arezu and Cogita 🤤) I'm pretty excited for Pokemon ZA.

I dunno what it is about the game because I've been avoiding most content about it - I don't even know much about the gameplay or anything, but I'm still excited.
