Been steadily feeling worse since Friday and barely slept a wink last night because I just couldn't get comfy with how crappy I felt.
Just gonna enjoy some tea, soup, Dayquil, and FF16 today. Hopefully back up to speed tomorrow.

I've been seeing that absolutely abominable AI dub and it's reminding me of a former moot who I unfollowed for saying AI translations are better than localizers and I'm really curious how they feel about AI dubbing.

Can I just say that the Danganronpa 2 remake thing scares the hell out of me?
I really hate the idea of completely rewriting a story - especially one like Danganronpa - because it could very easily ruin characters entirely by writing them in a wholly different way.

Welp, a second AI dub on Amazon has apparently been found, and it's a show that already had a perfectly normal (albeit non-union) dub: No Game No Life.

Circling back to this, I'm kinda figuring out which characters are going to be here and I'll be real, 100 Line is making a solid showing.

Something kinda interesting I'm noticing is that in addition to my usual tier list of every game I played in a year, I also do a "top characters I met this year" list...
But this year had so many sequels, remakes, and games I replayed that I'm kinda dry on variety for this year 😅

Yahtzee put up a video today about "cutscene incompetence" (IE when your character in a game becomes suddenly weak and useless in a cutscene) and I really think Trails would give him an aneurysm because that is the biggest problem I have with the series.
