Once again I need to point out that the quieter, more intimate, more emotional moments of FF16 are just as impactful than the big, cinematic, bombastic battles.
The battles are awesome and cool and I love them.
But these are the scenes that stick with me.
This game's writing is just... MWAH!

Playing Alpha Sapphire for the first time and using 4 Pokemon I had never used before.
3 of them have really changed my opinion on them!
And one of them is Linoone who is my HM mon and is only here because for some reason the game thought giving me a shiny Zigzagoon would be hilarious 😒

Is the first one here supposed to be some kind of... Fox boy?
Also the second one here absolutely slaps. I could definitely see it being a design they return to later in the series for a slightly older Aaron.

Did my TGA voting and it really made me realize that I played basically only one game good ol' Geoffy boy thought was worthy of his illustrious show this year.
And even then I wasn't the biggest fan of that game but it's the only damn thing I played that's featured.
TGA needs to play more games.

Game beaten!
More thoughts to come, but on the ending specifically... I don't know how I feel about it. I like how things ended for everyone *but* Milla.
Her ending feels kind of antithetical to her growth across the game, and feels like she herself didn't really want that ending?

I get that they're trying to make me empathize with this guy but at this point he has actively hurt us so many times after swearing up and down that he was a changed man or had his reasons or whatever that I cannot forgive his actions or understand why the others would.

I was NOT expecting this as the plot twist to be honest. Like I figured this particular character would end up being evil, but I didn't expect this revelation with Milla.
