There is going to be a lot of talk about Evil Empires like the Dodgers causing 2027 drama, and while I understand the attractiveness of that narrative, I really hope baseball fans look a little closer to see that Not Spending is causing more problems. Owners not building teams, just selling parts.

Ohhh. 😞 my job for the past 3.5 years was recently cut… my last week is next. Whole division, company is making record profits. Ugh. I am feeling it too, though furlough is a particular type of misery. Sorry you’re feeling like this.

Is politics weighing on you? Does it ever make you feel alone, like "everyone" is on board with awful things and "no one" cares (or close)?

Then you should go to a No Kings protest. That feeling isn't uncommon, but it's a trick. Go be around some of the many people who agree with you. You'll see.
