on this day in 1926 Winnie-the-Pooh by A.A. Milne is first published.

“I knew when I met you an adventure was going to happen.”

“Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

“The things that make me different are the things that make me.”

I love medieval fantasy, whimsical creatures and dark fairy tales.
I'm always on the lookout for new projects in book publishing, TTRPGs and TCGs.

An illustration of mother Goethel, the witch from Rapunzel. She stands in the center, surrounded by thorny bushes and between two crooked trees, holding a baby wrapped in luminous white cloth and her eyes glowing a malicious golden color. In the foreground we see rampions growing from golden vines which intertwine like braids; in the background, in the distance and in the middle of a forest, we see a lone tower a red squirrel knight, with body armor and a cape, holding a lance in one hand and standing on its hind legs, with a golden halo aroung its upper torso and head. the beast (from beauty and the beast), appearing in the middle of a dense rose-bush foliage, gently holding a tiny bird in its huge paws and looking at it with tenderness. the castle tower can be seen in the distance. toe-thrasher, a rat lord wearing a royal mantle made of white fur, thrashing in the middle of a swamp in its hind legs and holding a black flail. in the swamp, there are numerous yellow eyes
There are two wolves inside you…

Halloween draws near. History is an ocean that echos and groans. Many states and wishful kings have tried to build rafts and boats to remain atop it. Yet we will never breach the surface of the nightmare so long as we avoid pulling up the victims sunken below.

See you ‘soon’
A sickly red poster with text at the bottom reading “that house is never going to sell.” The epitomous hollowed out husk of a house, nearly pitch black, looms in the background while trick or treaters warily walk past it. The trick or treaters wear cat, dog, bee costumes along with a couple of mournful eyed goblins in the back of the crowd. Around the scene a red telephone cord coils which is being cut apart by a triangular round faced slasher wearing a hat and overcoat.

I'll say it: I think its rly annoying and frankly amateurish that writers are constantly told their villains must be understandable or have sympathetic motivation to be interesting or realistic when all our big villains irl are in fact rich, stupid, selfish, trickster dillweeds and always have been

My Roman Empire is the fact that Perrito from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, is the "little dog" that laughed from the Hey Diddle Diddle rhyme but something happened in an earlier story draft that cut the rhyme from playing out but left in most of the remnants like a trail of whimsical breadcrumbs.
Puss was probably originally supposed to play a fiddle but they gave him a guitar instead The giant was definitely going to throw the cow at some point The giant was going to throw the cow right over mama lunas house. Luna....moon Perrito was gonna see this and laugh. He laughs alot

Like I know there are edgelord leftists out there who look down their noses at shit like No Kings but sorry you guys, the more mass protest looks fun and family-friendly, the bigger it gets and the better its chances of being broadly effective
Portland does not own the patent on inflatable animal costume protests, come on people

I can't stress enough that Portland lives for two things.
1. Protesting
2. Being fucking weird
I feel like ICE challenged Portland to a dick-measuring contest, unaware of their comically massive glittery strap-on.
I am never going to begrudge someone the opportunity to get better after they did something harmful.

I do take issue when those people continue to exist comfortably in the spaces where they caused others harm and when others continue to protect and defend them.
